The Rosary Society is a group who are committed to extend the hospitality of the parish to members and visitors alike and provide support services for the sacramental and liturgical life of the church. All women of the parish aged eighteen and older are invited to participate in the ministry in whatever way they can. As a Rosary Society, they are committed to prayer, especially to the Blessed Virgin Mary in the form of the rosary. To enhance the spiritual life and needs of its members, they plan annual retreats. In addition, this group helps undertake the responsibility of altar care by washing and ironing priest and altar server albs and altar linens. Some are called to help sew and embroidery baptismal bibs, some become responsible for cleaning and polishing the candle sticks and other items used on and around the altar. They plan bake sales, craft bazaars and other fund raisers to assist the parish in its needs. In addition, they assist with funeral dinners for grieving families, plan community-building dinners, and help with various events in coordination with other groups in the parish to bring our parish family closer together.
