MASS ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR  

16TH SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME, July 22nd – 23rd, 2017

Welcome to Saint Joseph Church.  We welcome any guests or visitors with us today, especially those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries.

  • The Rosary Society is still collecting items for the rummage/garage sale to be held on July 28th & 29th. Items will be accepted on Monday, Wednesday from 1 – 3pm. Items collected and sold will benefit the Jubilee Celebration next year.
  • There will be a farewell reception for Deacon Doug Marsh after each mass the weekend of July 29 & 30th. He is be assigned to St Dominic’s in Fountain. Come join us to wish him a fond farewell.
  • A reminder about the Rosary Societies Cripple Creek Trip on August 2. Please bring your luck for a good time.
  • The Knights of Columbus are still selling tickets after each mass for the cash raffle that will benefit the 50th anniversary of St Joseph’s Church in April, 2018. The winner will be announced at the parish picnic on August 13th.
  • Registration is now ongoing for Faith Formation Classes. Classes will be starting on September 10th. Registration packets are in the Narthex under the Faith Formation bulletin board.
  • The second collection today will be for Capital Improvements, thank you for your generous gifts.

  • A reminder that Dragon Slayers will meet after mass today Saturday July 15th.

  • The Knights of Columbus breakfast scheduled for this Sunday July 16th has been changed from a breakfast to burritos for sale. Please help support our Knights and enjoy a delicious breakfast burrito.
  • A reminder that this Sunday July 16th our youth are invited to attend a fun day with Fr. Bogdan. They will meet after the 12pm mass. Permissions slips are required and are located in the vestibule. Please see the bulletin and Kathy Kusman for complete details.
  • The Rosary Society will start collecting items for the rummage/garage sale to be held on July 28th & 29th. 12TH SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME – June 24th – 25th, 2017

Welcome to Saint Joseph Church.  We welcome any guests or visitors with us today, especially those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries.

  • Dragon Slayers has been rescheduled for Saturday July 15th following the 5:00pm mass.

MASS ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR

CORPUS CHRISTI SUNDAY – June 17th – 18th, 2017

            Welcome to Saint Joseph Church.  We welcome any guests or visitors with us today, especially those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries.

  • The new Lector and Extraordinary Minister schedule is out. If you picked one up last weekend there are some changes. Please pickup a new one or visit it on the parish website.
  • Vacation Bible School begins this coming Monday June 19th and you can still register for attendance but you must register on-line no later than Monday.
  • We are looking to recruit and train more Altar Servers. Any boy or girl that has made their First Communion and is over 10 years of age is eligible. The training will take place this coming Thursday, June 22nd after Vacation Bible School. Parents please consider encouraging and helping your young person with this wonderful ministry here at St. Josephs.
  • Are you being called to serve Our Lord? St Joseph is looking for more Lectors, Ushers and Extraordinary Ministers. Please consider serving the Lord and your fellow parishioners by using your talents in one of these ministries. PENTECOST SUNDAY – June 3rd – 4th, 2017

Welcome to Saint Joseph Church.  We welcome any guests or visitors with us to today, especially those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries.

  • Vacation Bible School is still looking for volunteers in order to keep it available. Please prayerfully consider helping with this wonderful ministry.
  • We are looking to recruit and train more Altar Servers. Any boy or girl that has made their First Communion and is over 10 years old is eligible. The training will take place on June 22nd after Vacation Bible School. Parents please consider encouraging and helping your young person with this wonderful ministry here at St. Josephs.

ASCENSION SUNDAY – May 27th – 28th, 2017

Welcome to Saint Joseph Church.  We welcome any guests or visitors with us today, especially those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries.

  • The Parish Office will be closed on Monday June 29th in observance of Memorial Day.
  • Vacation Bible School is still looking for those wonderful volunteers who enjoy working with our younger population and learning about our Lord. Please prayerfully consider helping with this wonderful ministry. Registration forms for the children are located on the table in the vestibule. VBS will run from Monday June 19th through Friday June 23rd.
  • There will be a Pro-Life Mass June 2nd at 12:00pm here at St Joseph’s. Adoration immediately following.
  • A reminder that Sunday June 4th is WELCOME SUNDAY. Donuts will be available after each mass on Sunday. Please plan on stopping by to enjoy with your fellow parishioners.
  • The food pantry is need of volunteers and donations. Please see the bulletin for the much needed items and times.

  • Just a reminder that there are NEW books, CD’s and booklets, at a wonderful price, in the kiosk located in the vestibule near the main entrance.
  • A reminder that the Knights of Columbus will be having a fundraiser breakfast this weekend after the 8 & 10am masses. This is to benefit the Boyer Family who lost their husband and father a few months back. Please come out and help us support one of our own.
  • There will be a Pro-Life Mass June 2nd at 12:00pm here at St Joseph’s. Adoration immediately following.

5th SUNDAY OF EASTER – May 13th – 14th, 2017

Welcome to Saint Joseph Church.  We welcome any guests or visitors with us today, especially those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries.

  • We would like to point out that there are NEW books and CD’s and booklets, at a wonderful price, in the kiosk located in the narthex near the main entrance.
  • Once again, a reminder that there will be a meeting on Tuesday May 16, for all that are interested in helping with Vacation Bible School. VBS will run from Monday June 19th through Friday June 23rd. Please plan on attending this very important meeting.
  • Please remember our poor this time of year. The food pantry is need of donations. Please see the bulletin for the much needed items.
  • Scripture Study is continuing on Wednesday evenings starting at 6:00pm in the Social Hall. Please join us to continue deepening our understanding of our faith.
  • The Diocese of Colorado Springs is sponsoring the St. John Bosco Young Adult Ministry Conference taking place on Saturday May 20th at St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Please see the bulletin for complete details.
